Frontier's journey to being a "low cost carrier" has not been a pleasant one for it's loyal passengers. I am a Summit Member - Frontier's highest loyalty level - and flew most recently in the past week. The new charges for carry on baggage has created a quagmire at the gate with people lining up (mandatory) to check bag size and determine fare type manually. There was such chaos that I was stuck in the bag checker line long into the boarding process. Next - I found out that their top level of loyalty flyers have lost their perk of free TV (a $6 value). Flight attendants seemed irritated - not sure if it was toward the passengers or the new rules. They now nickel and dime you for everything.
