Allegiant Air review by Kaylee 2016-12-28

I will start by saying I will NEVER be flying with Allegiant Air ever again. I had a weekend flight booked to Oakland, CA. Allegiant only flies about 2-3 days of the week so I was flying out Friday morning and returning Monday morning. As a college student living in Eugene, OR I always flew allegiant as it is one of the few options to fly out of the eugene airport and their cheaper rates. I have used this airline for 4 years and unfortunate to say I will never again. Sitting at the gate flight members and I were informed the flight was canceled due to the lack of technology the airplane was equipped with to land in fog. The flight was canceled until the next day at 3 and there was no refund option(even though the cancellation was due to the airline) My only choice was to travel quite a bit to spend one day on vacation or lose my money and not go. So not only did I not enjoy a weekend vacation because it was more hassle to go at that point but I did not receive a refund. In addition, the women I spoke to at customer service was rude and short with me. I was lucky I was not on business and had to fly because others were having to buy $300+ tickets with Alaska(who I will now use!)
