I flew with Austrian about 4 years ago, and I was not happy. Unfortunately had no choice as this was only direct flight to Vienna and I was travelling with my infant son. Nothing has changed, but I was hoping the staff would be little helpful as I was traveling with infant. No such luck. Nobody from staff from Toronto to Vienna and Vienna to Toronto offered any help. My little one does not sit, so I lay him down on seat, put my leg against the side of seat so he would not roll over and put my luggage above. When my little one woke up from his nap, staff was giving out food. I asked for hot water to warm up his food, and one of the staff literally rolled her eyes at me. I could not believe it. Austrian is not most comfortable flight, but at least Austrian airlines should train their staff to be friendly or at least professional. I had to wait for 20 min for my hot water to warm up his food. This is a baby and I can not explain it to him that , please wait because food is being served to people, who can wait, but staff does not want to interrupt their job. Unbelievable. Awful.
