I flew with Air New Zealand this past week and the staff that meet the flight talk with uncertainties and without definitive answers. Should luggage items that can be collected at the bridge, be collected at the bridge or should they show up on a belt, considering you are connecting on another flight and you had surrounded the item at bridge when originally boarding? And its inconsistent. The flight from Auckland to Vancouver was on a plane so old, I literally got off my chair and could lift my seat cushion and see the metal frame. The seats were horribly uncomfortable. The cabin staff to Vancouver were great, however the Call Centre does make a lot of mistakes. The meals were not updated even after updating twice on one leg and the resolution during that flight was "sorry". Air New Zealand was an unfortunate disappointment.
