Premium Economy

Booked a Singapore to Paris (return) flight on their Premium Economy flight launched early in the 2015 back 3 months ago. Now with only a month to go to my departure date and with all my train bookings, car rentals and hotels confirmed and fully paid, YESTERDAY on 3 September, Singapore airlines simply announces on their website that their refurbishment of the A380 for the Premium Economy is delayed by 3-4 months (CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT) .. and our booked and paid up flight cannot be fulfilled and offered my Economy flight instead in exchange for PITTANCE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? If the delay of refurbishment affects flights from September till December for the Paris leg, it meant that Singapore Airlines would have already known back in June when we bought the tickets correct? So why did they not come clean then? OR you trying to save face then because you had so much marketing campaign? OR you are so messed up internally that your Operations and Marketing teams don't talk? Everyone, the once world class Singapore Airlines is no more. They negate on their commitments. Worst than budget airlines now.
