Flew Air NZ from Tokyo - Auckland in Nov 2014 on Boeing 777 Cabin crew member was atrocious. Unhelpful and culturally insensitive bordering on rude towards many Japanese passengers on board just because she was having trouble understanding them. Entertainment selection was pretty poor as well, with many movies dated to more than 3-6 months old. Furthermore, only allowed 1 luggage checked in per person regardless of weight. This did not make sense to me, as it would seem more beneficial to check in more baggage to allow more room in the cabin.
