We flew Icelandair from Manchester to Toronto via Reykjavik, in their Saga Class which is a sort of better version of Premier Economy. The flight from Manchester was all on time, but their was an hour delay leaving Reykjavik because of plane refuelling. A bit irritating when they must know the schedules dates and times of flights. However, the service in Saga class was excellent. You can order your meals on line in advance, which we did, and my beef was probably one of the best in flight meals I have had. Really good quality and well presented. The Nordic tapas that my partner had was also very good quality. The wine selection was also very good with drinks on boarding with the meal and lots of refills, as well as fresh bottled water throughout. The cabin staff were attentive and friendly, especially on the flight between Reykjavik and Toronto. The in flight entertainment was good, much better than BA in my view. I would recommend paying that bit extra for the Saga Class especially if it is not an over night flight, as it is not a flat bed, but comfortable for getting a nap.
