We flew from Dubai to Vienna in March 2012. The aircraft was a 777, we were in economy class. The flight was the start of our holiday and what a great start. The onboad crews service was exceptional by any standard. The aircraft itself was clean and fresh and the entertainment system just can not be beaten. Since that flight I have flown extensively with Emirates - mostly longhaul flights - and they have never disappointed me. Great airline.
