Were going from Montreal to Cozumel on the 9th of August for 2 weeks of our so hardly earned vacation, just to find out that the flight was oversold - unacceptable practice! When doing check-in EXACTLY 24 hours in advance, I've got a seat but my husband and daughter got only GTE code on the check-in slips. Messages sent on Facebook and Twitter to ask about that stayed unanswered forever. Girl on the phone assured me it's ok as well as the person taking our luggage. But only when getting to the gate, I found out that the situation is different. Got super lucky to obtain the last seats - were separated but at least on the same plane. People after us were not so lucky and there is only 1 flight per day! Disgusting! There would be NOT ENOUGH MONEY EVER to compensate for the lost day of vacation! And WHY ARE YOU LYING TO PEOPLE ASSURING THEM IN A FALSE WAY THAT IT'S OK TO HAVE THIS GTE CODE? IT DOESN'T GUARANTEE YOU BEING ON THIS PLANE!!! You have to pay extra money to choose seats to be sure that you'll take this flight for real. MY WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!
