Avianca airline is the worst airline ever!!!!! My friends and I had a connecting flight, Avianca knew our itinerary. We landed in Bogota and ran to catch our flight, making it with some time to spare Avianca closed the doors and would not let us board the plane. They said they rescheduled our flight for 6am (it was midnight when we landed). It took them 3 hours to get our bags to us from the missed flight. We went to check in at 4am for the 6am flight and we were informed we werent on the flight and we needed to pay an extra $250.00USD each (4 in the group). We refused to pay as Avianca had shut the doors on us, we used our travel insurance to get Avianca to put us on the flight. The phone call alone cost close to $100 but Avianca was not helpful at all. We have since written avianca to tell them how bad our experience was and now they say there is no record of us flying with them. Horrible customer service!!!!! I will never us them again.
