Spirit Airlines review by Joyce 2016-02-15

I was leery of the cheaper fare but decided to try it anyway. Flew from Orlando to Atlanta with a friend. Each flight took off on time, was clean, and friendly staff. We did make sure to measure our bag at home in order to bring one small enough to be free. We didn't buy any upgrades and realistically we didn't need any. My friend is almost 6 ft tall and about 280 lbs and had as much room as on any other airlines. The thinner seats were just as comfortable as older, worn out seats on other airlines and, being thinner, made it seem like there was more room in our lap and in the aisle. Same leg room as other airlines. Will definitely try them again. READ all their policies and you will be ok. Most of the negative reviews here seem to be from not reading the terms or things out of control of the airline. EDITORS COMMENT: We absolutely agree and hope other read your review first so they too wont get any surprises at the airport and will enjoy a cheap flight.
