During our last trip from LAX to Montreal, Air Canada was late almost 4 hours. Its flight attendants were still fairly rude to us. We were then given a card to log on to its web site for a discount code of 15%. We thought that it was a good deal. So, we again booked an Air Canada flight from LAX to Toronto. The 15% discount is from the full published fare. After we paid for the tickets, we found out that it wanted $160 to assign seats for us PLUS $25 per luggage! The total price is almost the same as if we bought the tickets without any discount on other airlines.
