Extremely uncomfortable trip. Did a RT Manila to Tokyo with the Tokyo-Manila on a redeye flight at 130AM. Business class seats barely recline and do not have footrests. One tiny bathroom for the entire business and premium economy sections. No IFE. While they give you tiny iPads there is nowhere to comfortably put these iPads. On the redeye flight cabin lights were only turned off 2 and a half hours into the flight. Crew explained there was only one light switch for the whole plane and they couldn't turn off lights in business class as they were still selling duty free items in the back of the plane! I cannot believe that PAL charges the same fees as CX or ANA given their substandard product. EDITORS COMMENT: If you can get the other airlines for the same price its probably worth it.
