Lion Air review by John 2013-06-11

I have flown Lion Air many times over last 7/8 years from Makassar to Denpasar en route from a mining company in Sulawesi to Perth as it was the only airline that met both the mine charter flight and the Perth flight schedules. Always had reservations due to their safety record, however for a short flight it has usually been acceptable. However as a tall person, the seat space is very poor and I could only sit in an angled position. On a recent flight a sympathetic flight attendant did move me to an exit aisle seat, however the next flight I did invest in the extra cost for a business class seat, which was quite comfortable, and quite cheap. There was no in-flight entertainment or food service.
