Air Canada review by Michael 2015-09-04

I had a nine and a half hour flight from Osaka on the worst airplane in the fleet. The seats were so uncomfortable, lacked back support, didn't lean back more than an inch and were hard flat bottomed benches. I could not get any sleep without falling forward. My ass was literally numb after three hours. The seat back is hollow. The person behind me, also struggling to get comfortable kicked my lower back through the seat for the entire flight. Air Canada Rouge is right. My eyes and ass were bloodshot after the entire flight. No place to charge my iphone or computer so the in-flight entertainment, which was minimal, lasted as long as my batteries held out. I had a call button directly under my elbow which occasionally flicked on the overhead light. The continuous stream of unheated air forced me to use some dispensary blanket that they requested I connected my seat belt on top of. I mean really? How fucking comfortable is that supposed to be? My choice is constriction or hypothermia. Had I known the flight was an experiment in deprivation on behalf of the airlines I would have asked to be put unconscious for the duration of this flying penal colony.
