My mother who is 70 traveled on BA on the night of the 5th of December 2015 from Boston Logan airport to Heathrow. She landed at 8 am. Despite booking wheelchair services, she had no-one to assist her at the airport. She missed her connecting flight to Mumbai as it took her longer to reach the check in counter. Also she was subjected to security check but was at the end of the queue. No one paid any attention to her or the other passengers who had to catch their connecting flight. Having now missed her flight, she was given a £10 coupon for food and drink. She had to sit in the transit lounge of Terminal 5 on high back chairs. The flight to Mumbai was at 9pm on the 6th. I feel that the way British airways ground staff were useless. The customer services were totally inadequate in providing me any telephone numbers to be able to contact her in Terminal 5. We were totally disgusted with her treatment and vowed that none of us will fly BA on a long haul flight.
