Flew from LAX to Tokyo Narita both ways. Service was very good and accommodating. The team was very gracious when they made mistakes. I flew next to an Indian man on the way to Tokyo who was vegetarian and had pre-ordered a vegetarian meal when he ordered his ticket. They ran out of vegetarian options, so he did not get a meal. The attendant scrambled to find non-meat sides to at least get him some food, and then made sure he was comped vegetarian meals on all his connecting flights to India for that trip. I was impressed as you would never see that happen with an American company. The negative: I did notice that a few controllers for the seat back entertainment were not working, including my partner's who was seated next to me. Also, on the flight back I got food poisoning from their "beef" option almost immediately. Within an hour of eating it I was spraying from both ends. By the time I reached LAX I had nothing in my stomach left to puke. But it didn't stop there...I ended up throwing up in front of the LAX international building and didn't get to make our side trip into LA as planned because I could barely move. In summary do not take your chances with the beef option.
