LAX-Zurich, 12hr flight Wanted to book extra leg room, but was told by Swiss this can be done only 23 hours before the flight. Logged on to Swiss 23 hours before the flight and was told seat assignment could be changed only up to 48 hours before the flight. Old A340 with no leg room. Once the passenger in front of me tilted his chair I could not watch the TV screen because of the poor angle with no room to manouver. Logged in and set-up automatic check-in with Swiss iPhone app - that never worked. Purchased a $99 extra leg room seat for the next leg Zurich-TLV, Swiss inadvertently cancelled the reservation and refused to reimburse the $99.
