Air New Zealand review by Lisa 2016-12-19

I want to say a HUGE THANKYOU to ANZ. I recently flew Melbourne to LAX with my 2 teenage daughters. There were IT issues at Melbourne airport on departure which delayed us by around 90 minutes. Staff were outstanding in giving us water and lollies and kept us well informed on the system issues. 1 of my daughters suffers from anxiety and does not go well with flying. The crew on all 4 flights (we stopped in Auckland) were nothing short of outstanding with her. She got a special escort to the flight and they gave her hot towels and water and checked in on her many times throughout the flight. This was a big relief not only to her but I managed to get some rest as well because the staff made her feel so comfortable. In fact they were just nothing short of outstanding with everything. Meals were good, in flight entertainment was good and contrary to what several people say about economy I found it to have more leg room than many other airlines I have flown with. Having said that I am not a tall person either !! I would not hesitate to fly with ANZ again and I look forward to our next holiday.
