Lufthansa review by Srishti 2015-02-13

I had a lufthansa flight booked by makemytrip from Mumbai to Chicago via Munich and Dusseldorf. While booking the ticket, neither the booking client (makemytrip) nor the airline (Lufthansa) informed me that I needed a Germany visa for the Munich to Dusseldorf connection on my itinerary. Let aside this, even when I stopped at the Mumbai airport and informed that I could not fly without a Germany visa, none of the Lufthansa representatives helped out one bit. They were all just plain RUDE and asked me to figure out a way by myself. This is how they treat their customers? Let a student, who is new to the city, deal with such problems all by herself! They could have easily put me in a Munich to Chicago connection (which wouldn't require a Germany visa). It was not a peak time and doing this is not hard for an airline. They offered NO HELP whatsoever and their behavior reflected absolutely NO CARE FOR CUSTOMERS. Will never fly with Lufthansa again.
