Had to cancel one leg of a roundtrip flight due to unforeseen circumstances and was told that I have to pay a cancellation fee + fare difference, which came to be *more* than booking a fresh one-way flight with a different airline. So they wanted to charge me more than their competitor for something that actually benefits them (the seat that frees up on one of the legs). Obviously I ended up booking with the competitor and completely losing the money I paid to this awful company. Avoid them like the plague! EDITORS COMMENT: As awful and unfair as it seems ALL airlines do this is you are traveling on a no flexibility fare. These base fare tickets offer no flexibility what so ever making it very expensive when you do need to change and often , as you experienced, it becomes cheaper to book elsewhere.
