So now Westjet is charging for your first bag... Well alright then! Sooooo.... when I ask the agent if I have to pay this on my return flight - she replied "yes" (still no problem here - wait did I mention I SPECIFICALLY asked if Canadian currency will be accepted for my bag-tax on my return flight - she replied "yes" Fast forward to my return flight - they only wanted the currency on the island or US.... I argued a bit - I explained, I don't live in a US country nor is the country I was trying to get out of WITH my bag (I don't know what I was thinking!!!) So.... WESTJET, I'm talking to YOU! Get it together! Yes.. it is a little thing - however at the end of my trip.... that little thing makes a HUGE difference! Either you bill for both ways at the beginning of the trip OR you could go back to NOT charging for bags..... I'm just saying!
