When returning from the toilet there were two trolleys in the aisle. After I got past one trolley because of a vacant seat the hostess rather rudely told me not to sit down until the next trolley was past me. That was unnecessary because I was standing next to my own seat and would have been in the way if I had not sat down. The second problem was that I was not served dinner and when I asked for dinner later I was told that I would have been asleep when dinner was served and everything was packed away. When I asked if I could get some snacks I was given some left over dinner and the hostess said, "See what you miss when you are asleep." I don't think I am expected to stay awake on a long flight from Singapore to Auckland to get my dinner. If I was asleep the hostess could have woken me up for dinner - as is the usual practice with other airlines.
