Thai Airways International review by Nic 2015-10-10

Plane was old ans dirty. In my whole row none of the TVs worked. Over 14 hours on a plane and the hostess said that if I or my bf wanted to watch a movie she had one seat at the front and we could swap. I pay for a service and only one of us can watch TV at a time? Plus bf was always hungry the portions seem smaller than other carriers. They also broke our luggage from Germany back to Aus but its bloody hard to find any numbers on their website. We travelled last year on Vietnam out of the two Vietnam was better. For a long flight do yourself a favour pay the difference and fly the better carriers. EDITORS COMMENT: that's very unfortunate about the TV's - we would be very annoyed at this too. As for the leg room - Thai have more generous legroom than many but Vietnam air does have slightly more so you may have noticed that difference. Thai food servings are pretty generous and they have snacks but it sounds like a full flight so there probably wasn't any spare meals to give your bf a second one
