Bad experience on customer service by Emirates. We flew through Dubai in transit and my wife's ecigarette was confiscated in Dubai from her carry on luggage as local authorities apparently misinterpreted the security instructions tat say you should carry ecigarette in cabin and not check it in. I enquired to Emirates about the issue and they just replied back I had to handle that with Dubai Airport or Dubai Police. I am still awaiting the answer to my simple question : can you fly Emirates with an ecigarette in your hand luggage, as with any other airlines, and transit with it in Dubai ? Nether got an answer despite the 2 other mails I sent...
