DO NOT EVER FLY THIS AIRLINE. You get what you pay for, which in my experience, was the worst airline and customer service I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. On the day of my flight out of SFO, I could not check-in online or see the flight status. My flight to Guangzhou was delayed 4 hours and the airline did not bother to send any flight updates the morning of, even though they knew by 9am that my 2pm flight was going to be delayed. The check-in counter staff were unorganized and not at all empathetic to the situation. My boyfriend asked if we could be upgraded for free to premium economy to ease the pain of our delayed flight. The staff assured us we were first in line for upgrades if seats were available. We later realized they only said this so we would go away, since this airline doesn�t offer free seat upgrades. They wanted to charge us an extra $400 for two more inches of leg room. Our 4 hour layover caused us to miss our connecting flight to Phuket in Guangzhou. We were promised by the SFO staff that we would receive a hotel voucher so we could get some rest before our 10pm flight out of China. We arrived in Guangzhou at 2am.
