Virgin Australia review by Xantheppe 2016-06-26

We flew Melbourne Christchurch with the fare, 'The Works' this included on board entertainment and a meal. The seats are now vinyl so after 1/2 an hour you are virtually stuck to the seat ( I am 55ks) No devises to upload entertainment are given out they suggest you upload on your own devise. All good if you have one but we didn't so 4 hours of nothing !! The meal arrived, no tray, one bun and something that resembled a toddlers meal, tiny portion of a meat casserole , few peas and mash!!! We had upgraded two days earlier to include the meal and on board entertainment and felt very ripped off Never fly Virgin again EDITORS COMMENT: It looks like perhaps you booked your flight through Air New Zealand but it was a Virgin Australia code share service which has a different in flight product (and vinyl seats!).
