I recently flew to Greece with Ryanair but will not use them again due to their policy of hand luggage. My husband and I were forced to have our genuine " hand luggage" at our feet on both flights as there was insufficient room in the overhead compartments. Passengers were using pull along cases almost as large as the ones we paid to put in the hold. Surely "hand luggage" should be exactly that and should mean luggage that is "carried". We were both unable to move our feet much which is unacceptable on flights. Also I was hit on the ankles numerous times when we arrived back at Stansted by passengers rushing along with these cases on wheels. This would not happen if they were only allowed hand luggage. Come on Ryanair give a thought to us passengers who are willing to pay for our luggage to be carried in the proper place.
