I was shocked by the horrible, unprofessional, incompetent way that I was treated by Aeromexico during my recent flight. Their deception, misinformation and incompetence cost me 8,612 extra pesos in penalties! The clerk at the gate told me to go to the Immigration desk to get a new immigration stub. I did and returned to the gate minutes later. But then the clerk wouldn’t allow me to board the plane! And she seemed completely uninterested in the fact that I was just following her orders. In the end, I had to be rescheduled for the next flight, at a total penalty of 8,612 pesos ($480.25). I ended up speaking with EIGHT Aeromexico employees about this matter, all to no effect. I even called Aeromexico's customer service line. They told me that unfortunately Aeromexico's customer service operators weren't authorized to resolve customer service matters. How ridiculous! I should not have been treated this way. DON'T make the mistake of taking Aeromexico. They might treat you this way too. AVOID Aeromexico at all costs.
