A classic airline situation where no one accepts responsibility for lost luggage and no one will help you manage 48 hours of spoiled vacation and no clothes. My son made a 20 hour journey from Toronto to Yangon, Myanmar. Air Canada flew from Toronto to Beijing and Air China from Beijing to Yangon. We, his parents, were looking forward to a special Christmas as this is the first time we’ve seen him for 5 months. He brought golf clubs to play golf with his dad and gifts for his family. His baggage and golf clubs didn’t arrive. The baggage will drive in 48 hours but, by then, we will already have flown to the north of Myanmar. And guess what? Air Canada are blaming Air China and Air China are blaming Air Canada. Typical.
