I booked my tickets for 9 am from KLIA2 to Langkawi. I reached Airport at 6, and qued up for my check in, On inquiry I got to know my desk to check in, so I stood in the queue by 6:30. In this queue my number came by around by 7:40, although I think there were only 10 people before me. I was told that I have to report immediately to the customer service desk, as the check in has been stopped. I headed straight to the other counter still satisfied that more than an hour is left. This queue was of 4 people. I stood there, for around 40 minutes. The officer was still dealing with the same passenger I joined the queue. I rushed to one other officer asking about the status, who very clearly told me to buy another set of tickets as the boarding has been closed. It was still 20 minutes for the aeroplane to fly. Even on my requests they stood at their stance, but promised to give me concession on my new tickets. My kids were enthusiast to go to Langkawi so I had to buy another set of tickets for almost the same price 515 ringgit. On my query I was told that I was given a concession of 10 ringgit each for my four tickets. I really was amused on their generosity. Finally we boarded and reached to our destination, without any refreshments. On my way back to KL, I was stopped very harshly by the junior officer on duty that my baggage doesn't fit the cabin size according to airline rules. I told them quite much times that it is the same bag we have brought on the same very flight 2 days back, and also from our home country. It fits in the cabin shelves and we have never faced any problem, but still same rude behaviour. I asked him to call some senior, who was a lady with even more rude attitude. I had to pay 100 bucks more to this cheater airline for no reason. Overall the worst experience I have had.
