Southwest Airlines review by Dennis 2015-01-07

I have flown frequently on Southwest since their early days at Love Field TX. They are a low cost, friendly carrier with an excellent frequent flyer program. However their new aircraft and newly renovated ones are too uncomfortable for flights over two hours. I complained to them about seat room and they said its now 31 inches. They did not admit that it is 17 inches with seats fully reclined. I flew BWI to San Diego and it was pure agony. I still fly them about once a month or so but switched to United economy plus on an upcoming cross country flight. More expensive but I can still stand by 6'1 frame upright after their flight.
