Horrible horrible people. After major surgery I came to Singapore airport after a long stay with 35kg rather than 30 to avoid hand luggage and lifting with my right arm, despite a letter and my explanation a jobsworth refused my extra kilos as did an inhumane supervisor who said she would be fired if she even made an exception for one kilo. The airline preferred me to unpack and carry my kilos, no humanity, no grace, no kindness just frowns. No help to unpack and no offer of sympathy except from a brave trainee. Emirates just lost my business for my return medical trips - worth far more than 5 kg. I am disgusted and do not recommend this airline for people who have been ill.
