Economy Class

It's common knowledge that Ryanair is a budget airline, so you more or less know what to expect. I've flown with them numerous times, and have never really had any severe problems. I always use the online Ryanair app on my phone to check in( no need to print boarding passes, they are produced on the phone, this way you can avoid the boarding pass fee at the airport) and follow the weight and bag regulations that are even noted upon confirmation after booking the flight. Regarding getting seats next to the person you are flying with, simply check in 7 days before the flight under the same device, I check myself and my boyfriend in using my phone and without fail always get seats next to each other, all you need to do is just send your partner, family member/ fellow traveller a photo of their boarding pass via Facebook, viber, whatever. Ryanair offer what they advertise, which is cheap flights. They get you from A to B. To avoid any further charges just read the instruction on check in and baggage allowances and you will be sweet.
