My 84 year old mother, had wheelchair assistance at Heathrow, waited for more than 45 mins. Was not able to use lounge facilities, as staff took her to the wrong one 3 times, she then had to board. Was put in wrong seat, and wrong plane. She was rushed onto correct flight. Was left for 2 1/2 hrs in Manilla, unattended and not taken to lounge area as promised. Food was very second rate, as was the service. All round an unacceptable, stressful experience. We decided to fly business class to avoid this happening. My mother is now extremely anxious about making the return journey on her ow. Some compensation is sought.
