Worse of all, the new business class seats!!! Smaller, arm rests at different heights, in-built seat cushion get you sea sick, never have 90 degrees to monitor (not a touch screen) and it is not flat!!! New service concept jeopardizes crew health and prolongs services times, tying passengers unnecessarily to their seats. Subsequently cabin lights can't be dimmed and overall time to rest is shortened. Choice of food is below average. All this fancy stuff of so called world class chefs is light years away from eatable food. I'm sick and tired of having a choice between pumpkin and eggplant instead of potatoes and noodles. Would I recommend LH to friends and family? The answer is probably somewhat in the middle between yes and no. In today's world it is all about mileage programs and once you hooked to LH and Star Alliance as a German you don't have much choice. So on short trips LH is probably ok but on long distance there are other options depending on the destination that I prefer.
