Lion Air review by F 2015-02-04

I had read many negative comments about this airline so I was hesitant to fly with them. However when I was in Bangkok, I saw many travellers flyiing with them and decided to give them a try on my next flight. I flew with Thai Lion air from Chiang Mai- Bangkok and then Bangkok-Surat Thani and I was very pleased. I had booked last minute (2 days in advance) and encountered no difficulty with cancellations or flight time modifications. Check in was a breeze, they were even smiling. Baggage allowance included, 15 kg. Great price! Smooth landing. Friendly greeting upon arrival on board. My husband is very tall and with out asking, we were give emergency aisle seat on both flights for free. Would recommend this airline if you are booking last minute flights while travelling Thailand.
