Each experience with this airline has been bad. Worst one was when we were stranded in Toronto due to an emergency landing because the 'toilet waste was full', was it not emptied??? A 33 hour journey turned into 56 hours, accomodation was ONLY offered to those who complained, I did not sleep as I waited in the hotel lobby for over 3 hours for the phone to arrange my connecting flight. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, no flight information was given on the flight replacement. I was blatantly ignored by an Air Canada employee who was not dealing with anyone. We were redirected to 3 different long lines in Toronto airport, by the 3rd correct line we had missed the replacement plane. I deal with others in a polite manner. Air Canada staff are generally RUDE and you are lucky if you are treated politely. There seems to be an overall resentment of the doing the jobs they are paid to do. In order to not fly with this airline again i choose to pay more money to fly with someone else. EDITORS COMMENT: Thanks for sharing your disappointing experience with us - sounds like a real mess!
