Singapore Airlines review by Adrian 2015-08-06

Flew Singapore from Perth - Singapore - Ho Chi Minh and Return (Economy). Outward leg could best be described as average,the aircraft was an A330 seating was hard and uncomfortable, food inflight meals pretty average the old Singapore airlines standard has long gone. The return trip was a horror particularly the Singapore -Perth leg, the cabin was plunged in to darkness after takeoff only to be illuminated an hour later for breakfast at 0200hrs. Who eats noodles and stale chicken at 2.00am. I was asleep but was woken by cabin staff for the meal. Why? The lights remained on until about 40 minutes before we started our approach to Perth when it was plunged into darkness again for about 20 minutes, and the incessant warnings about turbulence and not being able to serve hot beverages. On a night flight i'd like to sleep.
