Flew economy class SFO-CAN-KUL Good points: - delicious in-flight food - free hotel stay for long layovers in Guangzhou. Bad points: - rude cabin crew (flight attendant raised his voice at my mum just to demand that she switch off her phone, never spoke politely to Mandarin-speaking passengers) - terrible service (favours Caucasians and other foreigners over Chinese passengers, turned off my call button without asking me if I needed anything) - small seats with tiny legroom (and I'm petite) - misleading flight information (nothing stated in the emails and e-tickets that we would be stopping at Wuhan for customs before flying to Guangzhou, and they actually picked up new passengers from Wuhan, so this definitely counts as a layover) Will never recommended (in fact, already spread the word to my friends NEVER to fly with China Southern) and will never fly with them again. They are the WORST. Never had to put up with such bad attitude during all my previous flying experiences with other airlines.
