China Southern review by Daniel 2015-12-09

Very poor experience. I was booked on a flight from Paris to Guangzhou and then Guangzhou to Melbourne with 2-3 hours layover. The first flight was rescheduled a few hours later (with only about 24 hours notice) so I would just miss the connection. I wanted to rebook both my flights to the next day to avoid the layover, but China Southern didn't give me this option, but forced me to take the rescheduled flight to Guangzhou and then wait so 12 hours in Guangzhou for their next flight to Melbourne. They did provide a free hotel and meals, but I thought I they should've tried to help me get the flights I wanted after rescheduling the first one at such short notice. EDITORS COMMENT: As frustrating as it is it may be that they simply didn't have the room on the other flights or there actually aren't flights on the other days. Either way it is a massive inconvenience so im glad you were at least looked after with accommodation etc
