In early April my wife and I travelled on Spirit from Baltimore to Las Vegas. Despite the negative comments and low rating we found the flight to be on time, comfortable, clean and generally meeting expectations of a low-cost carrier. Clearly this is not a five-star airline, but it was perfectly adequate. Besides, cabin crew were like stern matrons and what they lacked in decorum they made up for it in passenger safety. Rudy vd E
