Delta is not the way to the Bahamas, based on flight 5463 on December 29. This is the new, twice-weekly nonstop from Atlanta to Marsh Harbour. We visit the Marsh Harbour area regularly and have looked forward to this flight. We will travel by other airlines in the future. Cabin service was poor and unresponsive when we asked to have the cabin warmer. There were not enough Bahamas customs forms. Drink service occurred as the plane was landing. Then Delta lost two of our three bags. 36 hours later we got them, after I had to ask one Delta baggage agent not to send the bags back to Atlanta and explain to another baggage agent how to contact Sky Bahamas, a local airline that would bring our bags from Nassau to Marsh Harbour. Delta agents were friendly but clueless. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, one agent said that was not possible -- Delta managers do not take calls! Only Rochelle, Delta agent in Marsh Harbour, knew what to do and was helpful.
