Oman Air review by Peter 2014-02-06

I fly often ZRH-MUC-BKK and back in economy. The flight with Oman is always good, the food is decent, and Oman is always priced competitively. The entertainment system has large touch screens and good picture quality. The 30Kg luggage are nice too, and especially the 45Kg for frequent flyers. Their airplanes look very recent. Connexions in Muscat are fast enough, and free WIFI is provided. It seems some people have to knock Oman Air, mostly faulting the service or staff's manners, but I have only seen polite and helpful staff, so I think these reviewers themselves belong to the obnoxious group of persons. Their lounge in Bangkok is stellar, in Muscat it's very good (Mayan lounge), but in Zürich the lounge resembles a canteen with bad food (horrible), probably due to the rip-off prices in general for anything in Switzerland. I warmly recommend Oman Air.
