Fronter Airlines is the absolute WORST ever. My fiance and I got to the kiosk at 3:00--our flight was at 3:45--and the two very rude employees refused to give us our boarding passes. We easily could have made it onto our flights, as there was no line for security, but they claimed they weren't able to print out boarding passes 45 minutes before takeoff. This NEVER would happen with Southwest or any other airline. On top of that, they tried to get us to pay $100 each to re-book with them tomorrow! Is it really necessary to charge for EVERY little thing? Picking seats? Bringing carryon? Needless to say, we didn't take them up on that offer. Now we're out $600 and missing my mom's birthday. You definitely won't get a repeat customer from me - NEVER going to book with them again. I hope you guys go down. EDITORS COMMENT: to be fair I don't think many other airlines would have let you on. Check in closes at the time stipulated on the ticket and from that the amount of fuel and take off speed etc is calculated based on the weight. This is why the cut off time is so early - a lot needs to happen in that 45 minutes before the plane can take off, its got nothing to do with security lines. Also they are a low cost airline so you do get charged for everything. Full service airlines cost more because they include all this - low cost airlines give you the option to pay for these extras or not keeping the airfare cheaper for you.
