Icelandair review by Catherine 2015-02-12

We flew into New York from Norway. The flight had been purchased and seats confirmed 6 months in advance. However, when we went to check-in, they decided to randomly switch our aisle seats to middle seats so that they can accomodate others. They refused to give back our pre-assigned seats. I can never trust Icelandair again to honor anything that was pre-paid and pre-selected. I wrote to customer service about it and they blew me off and told me that they do this all the time. EDITORS COMMENT: Whilst very frustrating - airlines will never guarantee you any seat reservation as they may be needed for other passengers in light of safety
