Travelling is a pain, international travel is even more of a pain. Norwegian is not great. 1. To Norway - delays delays delays! I missed my connecting flight, and was 5 hours later arriving than originally planned 2. When I was checking in, NORWEGIAN had cancelled my ticket. Yes. No ticket from JFK to Oslo. HOwever, I had tickets from Oslo to TRD, and from TRD back to JFK for my return. The desk could not help, I called Norwegian customer service, which is no better than anyone else. I was put on death hold the first time, by a person "looking into it". Then the next person told me that I cancelled my ticket. I did not. After a few minutes he told me he would disconnect if I didn't stop cursing at him. He told me to call my travel agent. My travel agent showed in the system my ticket was cancelled at the corporate level by Norwegian, and they can see that on the screen also. They just either didn''t look, or didn't care. 3. My return from TRD to Gatwick.... the cabin crew couldn't make up their mind. Cabin procedure is pretty standard, seats and trays up, stuff put away, etc. Oh no, can't put it under the seat in front you (as they said) you have to put it in the bin. You cannot have your coat, you have to put it in the bin, or wear it (??) ... I was actually sitting on it. 4. They brought by a drink cart, which is normal for a flight, but charged me 2.50 Euro for a watery cup of instant coffee. I've never paid for refreshments on a hop before...small thing but I'm here to complain. There was a lot of small stuff, but the cancelled ticket was the absolute worst. They were checking in and it was past close of business at my travel agents office, so I was fortunate to find someone who stayed late and was able to fix this!! The low rating is almost entirely because of this, they were no help at all (norwegian air)!!
