Allegiant Air review by Ann 2016-08-09

Happy with Allegiant. It is BUDGET transportation. A la carte, pay for what you use. Those who say other airlines such as Southwest 'do not nickel and dime you' for everything - forget that is only because they have already built it into your airfare! So the "free" two bags that SW gives you, you have already paid for, whether you check two bags or not. So for people like me, who travel light and don't want to check 2 bags, I save money. I take my own snack bar and water bottle on board. It's a 2-3 hour flight for crying out loud. Really, this entitlement attitude, need-to-be-served thing is laughable. It is transportation, not entertainment. I've flown Allegiant about a dozen times. 90% of the time, everything was on time and flawless. One recent flight was 2 hours late. Of course that is frustrating. But it happens from time to time with all airlines. I do worry about our nation's aging airline fleet in general, not just with Allegiant. Overall, happy with Allegiant, it meets my expectations of a Budget airline.
