Cathay Pacific review by weigang 2016-01-12

I took the flight from Boston to Hong Kong on 01/09/2015. One staff member of Cathy Pacific at the checking-in counter was exceedingly rude. On that day, one of my luggages was a little overweight. According to my experience with other Airlines, the normal solution to such situation is to take some books or stuff from the luggage to reduce the weight. But to collect $100 fine, he went so far as to force me to put my carrier bag on weight scale and then proclaimed that adding the few books to the carrying on bag would make the bag itself overweight, although my carrying on bag contained only clothes and definitely met the requirement for weight.
