Malaysia Airlines review by Liz 2015-01-13

Have flown the KUL-LHR route many times. In recent years the service gets worse and worse. Meals are almost always fish or chicken, no other meat seems to be served now. Towards the end of 2014 the catering company seemed to have changed and the food was worse than normal. I am not a fussy eater but I no longer enjoy MAS food. They have plenty of alcohol on board but don't really offer it, you have to ask for it. On a long 13-14 hour flight there are 2 meals. In between they used to give good snacks, then those were changed a snack box, and by the end of 2014 snacks were really limited, all sweet with no savoury items. There is a huge selection of films to watch - but nothing that really appealed to me. My last flight was less than half full, but even so the crew seemed to disappear for much of the flight. I only fly MAS now as it is soooo cheap.
